Responsible for supporting internal and external customers with spart parts, standalone units and small system quotes and orders. The specialist is required to have basic technical knowledge of the products that the company offers. This role will require understanding how systems work and integrating them into small system quotations. Will oversees requests from quoting stage, receiving the order, getting the PO entered into the system. Collaborate with other departments: Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Production and Shipping to make sure orders are entered accurately and completed on time.

Roles/ Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails routed through the CCC Department, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist with transferring calls to the appropriate departments as needed to ensure efficient customer service.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Regional Sales Managers to prepare quotations for standalone units and small systems.
  • Understand customer requirements and accurately size systems based on the provided application to recommend suitable solutions.
  • Address and resolve technical sales inquiries, offering professional solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare proposals for standalone units, including Dryers, Gaspacks, Surge Bins, Granulators, Retrofits, Controls Upgrades, and Conveying Systems.
  • Ensure all information provided to customers is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product offerings.
  • Process orders for spare parts, warranty orders, and small systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify part numbers and extract relevant details from orders to communicate with Engineering and Production departments.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Production, and Shipping, to ensure accurate and timely order processing and completion.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of products and services, keeping up with changes to ensure customer needs are met with the most current solutions

Qualifications :

  • High School/ GED required ; actively pursuing Associate's /Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Technical certifications or specialized training related to the industry (e.g., HVAC, industrial systems, automation).
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Experience in the industry or sector related to the products being sold (e.g., manufacturing, engineering systems, automation).
  • Familiarity with preparing quotations, proposals, and working with product managers and sales teams.
  • Solid understanding of the products and systems being sold, including technical specifications, applications, and industry standards.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply technical concepts to sales processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Proficiency in building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
