DescriptionJob Title: Technical Sales Support Specialist IDepartment: Product ManagementFLSA Class: ExemptPay Type: SalariedJob Summary: This role offers technical guidance to the sales team and customers, aiding in issue resolution and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, they assist with product specifications, troubleshooting, and documentation, acting as a link between sales and engineering to facilitate sales transactions. TSS specialists serve as customer advocates, functioning as the connection between our direct sales team, customers, and our manufacturing operations. They will also support Kimray's distributors by processing all quotes and orders, as well as assisting with returns, credits, and other essential duties to aid distributors. Essential Job Functions: Learn and assist in basic solution configuration and quoting.Manage CRM data entry and lead qualification.Active observer in the Quality process with the opportunity to take on less complex cases at the manager's discretion. Participate in sales calls and customer meetings as an observer.Begin understanding the competitor landscape and market trends.POC for Web Chat submission, Web Submissions, including website requests, and requests for product information.Complete sales transactions for distributors, including quotes, sales orders, RMAs, transfer orders, expedited product forms, and NetSuite cases/tasks. Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals, sharing knowledge and skills to foster a collaborative environment.Complies with all safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe activities to supervisors and Health and Environmental Safety teams.Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Basic understanding Kimray's product portfolio.Familiarity with Kimray product or a mechanical background is preferred.Strong communication and presentation skills..Can provide our customers with solutions that best meet their needs, which will generate short-and long-term revenue for Kimray.
