What You'll Do as a Technical Sales Support Specialist:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries in person, by phone, or by email.
Help customers select the right motors, pumps, drives, generators, or parts based on specs and application.
Prepare & follow up on quotes, sales orders, and service requests.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and assist with tracking orders and deliveries.
Coordinate with the service team for field scheduling and customer communication.
Process orders and returns accurately using internal systems.
Support the outside sales/service team with product info and customer updates.
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Monitor inventory for commonly ordered items and assist with stock awareness.
Assist with equipment loading and unloading as needed.
Our Ideal Technical Sales Support Specialist:
Experienced: 1+ years in inside sales, customer service, service desk, technical support required—preferably in industrial or electrical products. Must be able to explain technical items to both experienced pros and non-technical buyers. Ability to read technical specs or drawings is a plus.
Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
Communicative: Strong verbal and written communication skills and a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
Detailed: Organized, accurate, and dependable with solid follow-through.
Eager to Learn: Interested in growing within a technical sales environment.
Collaborative: Team player with a problem-solving mindset and a service-first approach.
Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 80 lbs. as needed.
