Role Overview
As a Territory Sales Manager in the BioPharma division, you will be responsible for promoting Getinge's pharmaceutical equipment and service contracts. You will collaborate with our talented sales specialists to create effective strategies for engaging with key accounts and exploring new opportunities. Your expertise in our products and marketing techniques will be critical in achieving profit margin and market share growth.
This position reports to the Director, Sales Life Science. The territory covers 17 states including NV, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, and IN. We prefer candidates to be located near major airports within this territory.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve or surpass sales objectives for designated product categories while managing expenses effectively.
Collaborate with sales specialists and service staff to develop and implement strategies for maximizing account engagement and bundling opportunities.
Conduct regular account-planning activities, monitor progress, and provide timely updates and reports.
Prepare accurate territory forecasts and maintain call planning travel agendas detailing customer engagement and progress.
Utilize company-provided CRM tools effectively to ensure optimal customer relationship management.
Work closely with Customer Support Operations, Service, and project management teams to optimize product performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and conduct all business in accordance with Getinge's Code of Conduct and Values.
Stay knowledgeable about product information and technical data, participating in training sessions and seminars to strengthen skills.
Represent Getinge at regional and national trade shows as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for experience in selling capital equipment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience in complex sales environments. Knowledge of the Getinge Life Science equipment preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with strong computer literacy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites (2-3 days per week) and possess a valid driver's license.
Compensation
Total Compensation = $209,553 ($95,000 base salary + $114,553 at plan target incentive).
A company vehicle will be provided.
