Territory Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and rentals of compact construction equipment across the Southern Illinois market. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-focused salesperson with a strong background in equipment or related industries.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow business within an assigned territory through customer visits and proactive prospecting. Promote equipment, parts, rentals, and service solutions to maximize customer value. Conduct product demonstrations and present equipment benefits with confidence. Handle the complete sales cycle, from quotes and contracts to order fulfillment. Track sales activities, set goals, and consistently work toward exceeding targets.
Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in equipment, rental, or construction-related industries. Knowledge of compact or construction equipment strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus; equivalent experience considered. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including some overnight stays.
