Overview Regional Sales Distribution Manager West (preferred based in Southern California, San Francisco Bay Area, or Phoenix Metro Area) to lead field sales efforts across a designated region, focused on driving revenue growth through distribution partners and directly engaging with OEM customers. This role is responsible for strengthening relationships at the distributor branch level, training sales teams, and enabling joint success with end customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B field sales and is excited to influence sales outcomes through both partner enablement and customer engagement. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for assigned regional distributor branches and support them in driving solutions to OEM customers. Proactively identify and develop new OEM business opportunities. Conduct joint sales calls with distribution partners to target OEM accounts, providing technical support, positioning solutions, and helping close new business. Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM stakeholders including engineering, purchasing, and decision-makers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Distribution Manager, Account Managers, Product Management, etc.) to align on sales strategies, promotions, and growth initiatives. Deliver impactful product and solution training sessions to distributor sales teams, tailored to their markets and customer base. Support distributors on customer-facing calls and develop joint account strategies to uncover and convert new opportunities. Identify and resolve obstacles at the branch or customer level that hinder sales performance or customer engagement. Track and report on sales performance, opportunity pipeline, and partner activity using internal tools and regular business reviews. Represent at local distributor events, trade shows, and OEM customer visits. Share feedback from the field with internal stakeholders to inform strategy, product development, and support resources. Create and maintain tools, collateral, and sales aids to simplify the distributor sales process and improve OEM engagement. Maintain and execute on a target account list with clear goals and follow-up actions in coordination with sales leadership. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree required; a degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred. 3 - 7 years of B2B field sales experience; experience selling to OEMs or within the electronics/components industry is a strong plus. Previous experience in channel or distribution sales is a plus but not required. Prior knowledge and use of CRM, SAP preferred. Ability to travel along the West Coast. Travel up to 50%.
