The ideal candidate thrives on success and is driven to attain the optimal distribution of Intex products across all of the accounts they manage in the assigned geographical territory. Working with independent reps, the sales manager will assist in all areas of account management including perfecting presentations, making in-person product presentations, negotiating pricing and deal structure, crafting promotions to drive sell through, forecasting demand and order timing, advocating with the production team for on-time deliveries, and positioning the Company’s product line against competitors. Lastly, maintaining a great relationship with all our valued customers.
Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with clients Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations Generate potential leads for future sales Set and exceed quotas Track and report sales in organized manner Communicate effectively with other members of team Grow Sales in line with the annual sales goals Support companywide product and brand building initiatives Master the Intex product lines – be the subject matter expert Advocate for the Intex dedicated production facilities and their industry leading capabilities Learn and promulgate all Intex policy guidelines Supervise assigned sales administration personnel that handle the day-to-day order processing and account management details. Collaborate with fellow territory sales managers on market environment, plans and future direction Engage with the product development group and Marketing department in identifying product improvements, innovation, new opportunities, and reporting account successes. Inspire assigned Sales Reps through leadership by example Coach and drive assigned Sales Reps to reach sales goals Coordinate with assigned Sales Reps in executing deep dive account analysis to accurately forecast needs: what product, how many and when they need it. Coordinate with the Credit department to ensure adequate credit lines are in place and assist with resolving chargebacks Provide feedback to the Customer Service supervisor regarding consumer experience with the products and any warranty claims issues.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5-10 years of sales experience of consumer-packaged goods Strong work ethic and communication skills Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally to visit factories and meet customers during buy trips. Strong desire to finish first and provide outstanding customer service.
