What You'll Do As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for selling waste and recycling removal services, with a focus on the construction, demolition, and renovation sectors. You'll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities: Sell waste and recycling services to construction, demolition, and renovation clients. Identify and track upcoming projects through research and outreach. Coordinate service logistics and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, project managers, and site supervisors. Support clients in meeting LEED compliance, diversion goals, and reporting requirements. Represent Waste Connections at industry and community events as needed. What We're Looking For Qualifications: 1-2 years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success. Strong ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong organizational and time management skills. Willingness to work occasional hours outside of the standard business day. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. What We Offer Base Salary + Commission: $70,000 base with monthly commissions. First-year earnings typically range from $90,000 to $100,000.
