The Rochester Knighthawks are seeking a Ticket Sales Senior Account Executive & Merchandise Manager in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will be the main service representative to a current book of Season Ticket Members for the Knighthawks while also generating new business revenue with set goals for New Season Ticket sales, Partial Plans, Group Tickets, and Season Ticket Renewals, as well as managing Knighthawks merchandise purchasing, sale, and management at Knighthawks events.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ticket Sales:

  • Generate revenue through season ticket sales, partial plans, and group sales via outbound sales campaigns for the Rochester Knighthawks.
  • Actively contact past and potential customers, along with prospecting leads to generate ticket sales revenue of all offered packages.
  • Handle inbound sales calls as a main contact for the teams from prospective clients for all ticket packages.
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals for all ticket packages.
  • Make a required minimum number outbound sales calls and/or required length of customer talk time each day, along with set in-arena and out of the office meetings with prospective leads.
  • Document all customer interaction through CRM and process all sales through Ticketmaster Archtics.
  • Be available for all game days and other special events as needed with a goal of revenue generation, group event planning, and other Ticket Sales responsibilities.

Merchandise:

  • Manage timelines from product concept to delivery, ensuring readiness for launches and promotions.
  • Use sales data and trend insights to guide reorders, special offers, and marketing pushes.
  • Oversee store setup, visual merchandising, signage, and seasonal refreshes.
  • Ensure all sales areas are organized, clean, and visually impactful.
  • Train staff on retail presentation standards and upselling techniques.
  • Manage POS systems, cash handling, and staff training for efficient, accurate transactions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement process improvements.
  • Oversee online store operations, including product listings, order fulfillment, and customer support.
  • Monitor inventory levels across all locations to balance supply and demand.
  • Track sales data and report on product performance, profitability, and consumer trends.
  • Use insights to make data-driven decisions on markdowns, reorders, and future product strategies.
  • Recruit, train, and manage seasonal merchandise staff for games and special events.
  • Serve as the on-site merchandise lead during peak events, ensuring smooth sales operations and fan satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong customer service standards for both in-person and online interactions

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of sales and/or service experience in a sports or hospitality industry.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics a plus but not required.
  • Experience ordering product within specific timeframes to ensure product arrive on time.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of practices and principles of retail sales/management.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals, displaying creativity in buying and showing initiative
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Internally motivated and coachable individual with passion for learning skills to be a revenue generator in sports.
  • Focused on growing a career in the sports industry.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and positive with strong aspirations to be successful in a sales career.
  • A growth mindset towards development

Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.

The projected compensation range for this position is:
$70,000—$75,000 USD
