Position Overview As our Technical Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer service to help drive the growth of our Industrial Valve Business. This role involves preparing MRO and project quotations, as well as providing post-order support including order entry, order management, and delivery. This position will interface with outside sales and operations in the order fulfillment process. You must be able to keep and maintain accurate records of all quotations and customer correspondence. You will report to our Inside Sales Manager. Position Responsibilities Effectively interact with customers via the telephone and the internet
Provide customer quotations for both MRO and projects
Produce professional quotations using systems, tools, and templates
Maintain customer quote files with effective follow-up
Manage customer orders through shipment
Aid in meeting or exceeding planned sales objectives
Meet monthly bookings forecasts
Advise management on product inventory needs
Development of new customers
Provide feedback on competitors, including product development, market strategy, and other information
Communicate effectively with outside sales on quotation activity and inquiries
Provide technical support for our Inside/Outside Sales staff

Requirements: Position Requirements High School Diploma required with Four-Year College Degree Preferred
Must have a minimum of 2 + years of technical inside sales experience selling Valves (Industrial Ball Valves a huge plus)
Knowledge of the Valve Industry, Distributors, and End Users with a strong knowledge of Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves and Floating Ball Valves
Must be used to working in a high-volume quoting environment
Must have a proven track record of success in follow-up on sales leads and closing business sales
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
Knowledge of ERP and/or order entry and inventory systems required
