Job Description

Sway is hiring a contract Venue Sales Manager who thrives in a dual-sided sales environment. This role combines two critical responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main sales point-of-contact for Sway-managed venues.
  • Manage inbound and outbound event inquiries, proposals, and bookings.
  • Conduct site visits and client walkthroughs.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with event clients.
  • Collaborate with the internal events team to ensure smooth handoff from sale to execution.
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and regular reporting on sales pipeline and performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong selling skills and ability to pitch service-based solutions
  • Excellent client-facing presence and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident negotiator with strong contract management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple sales pipelines and client accounts simultaneously.
  • Willingness to be on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area up to 50% of the time.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and venue/event management software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field is a plus.
