About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President and General Manager for its Ribbon Sales Channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a long-range sales and business development strategy that maximizes market potential for the distributor channel. This senior sales leadership role involves assembling, developing, and retaining a high-performing sales team, as well as providing strategic leadership focused on customer intimacy and revenue growth. The VP and GM will be tasked with ensuring effective communication, a winning culture, and aligned core values within the sales organization.
Candidates for this role should have 10-12 years' experience in a senior sales leadership position, with a proven track record in generating profitable revenue growth. The role requires the ability to travel both domestically and internationally and direct experience with consumer goods, building products, and/or construction services. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial leader with exceptional influencing skills, a team player, and a business partner committed to the organization's success. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related area is required, with an MBA preferred. The role demands a forward-thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards, capable of translating corporate strategies into divisional plans and effectively communicating those plans to the management team.
