About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Division Sales Manager for the East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to ensure departmental results for the Independent Broker Dealer Channel. This role involves managing and developing a high-performing team of professional field sales individuals, setting strategic priorities to increase sales revenue and market share, and proactively bringing sales ideas and growth strategies to distribution partners. The VP, Division Sales Manager will also be accountable for monitoring and assessing individual team member performance, negotiating various business support elements, and providing strategic direction on sales goals and objectives.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in an external wholesale role directly related to the position, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Essential qualifications include a state insurance license, a Registered Principal license, and various financial industry licenses within the first 6 months. The role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 75%. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is also required.
