About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Head of Sales for the Industrial and Food & Beverage Vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business success by generating pipeline opportunities, managing an enterprise sales team, and securing new business sales. This role is pivotal in further developing new and growing sectors and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Key responsibilities include controlling and managing the sales process, leading the business development team, delivering customer-facing presentations, and developing a strong understanding of the business and its key commercial drivers. The role also involves managing the sales performance model, conducting white space analysis, and owning the strategy behind competitive intelligence and bid response.
To succeed in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in sales leadership within the industrial, food and beverage, or logistics markets. Successful executive leadership skills, proficiency in sales reporting and project management tools, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and integrity are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business development within large corporate frameworks, experience in cross-selling, and a proven track record in orchestrating new business development. Advanced communication, commercial, and numerical skills are required, as is the ability to lead high-performing teams and achieve multi-million sales targets. The role demands a strategic vision, the ability to make data-driven decisions, and a commitment to collaboration for the benefit of the customer and the company.
