Overview
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for providing strategic management and leadership in the areas of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development initiatives in order to achieve positive business results through emphasis on profitable new business, productivity, and value-based pricing value drivers. As a member of the senior leadership team, leads and supports efforts through the Sales and Marketing functions as well as throughout the organization.
Base pay range
$220,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Leads, provides direction to, and development of direct reports to maximize business results, establish succession candidates, and provide career opportunities for employees.
Ensures achievement of budgeted sales dollars, EBITDA, and other business metrics.
Develops yearly sales input and shipping forecast budget, including EBITDA, in support of the annual business plan.
Actively investigates and reports on new product development ideas, competitor activities, industry and market trends and any other relevant information and data that support the success of the business.
Develops and maintains positive business relations with customers and potential customers, fostering long-term relationships at various levels throughout the customer organization, including on-site visits as appropriate.
Leads the development, implementation, and management of a marketing strategy that includes website, trade show, social media, marketing/sales support materials, communications, and data collection/analysis while coordinating with the design leadership initiative for a comprehensive and coordinated branding approach.
Completes all required sales and marketing related reports within established time, developing and participating in scheduled business update presentations.
Supports business unit team activity by developing and maintaining effective cross-functional relationships internally to promote root cause problem-solving, responsive communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required, MBA preferred with experience selling to aerospace to commercial, aftermarket or MRO customers.
Required Skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills to develop and maintain diverse customer and business relationships, lead and work effectively with a team, and function on an independent basis.
Business oriented, with ability to understand cross-functional business concepts and make ethical decisions in the mutual best interest of the customer.
Reliable, energetic, resilient, and positive, maintaining a proactive bias for action and sense of urgency.
