We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our national sales operation. This is a critical leadership role responsible for expanding our market share across the foodservice, wholesale distribution, and CPG sectors. The ideal candidate will define and execute a multi-year growth strategy, expanding market share, and building high-performing teams to drive revenue across both foodservice and retail channels.
This position will require frequent travel to HQ in Miami, Florida as well as the wider United States based team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with long-term business goals and revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities, product lines, and revenue streams to fuel growth.
Create and manage a 3–5 year strategic sales plan, including clear objectives, tactics, and measurable KPIs.
Lead, mentor, and scale a dynamic sales team composed of regional directors, account managers, brokers, and strategic partners.
Drive revenue expansion through new market entry, deeper penetration in existing accounts, and strategic client development.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, customers, and stakeholders.
Oversee sales forecasting, ensuring alignment with company financial targets and operational capabilities.
Regularly analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and inform data-driven decisions.
Key Skills & Expertise:
Extensive experience in B2B foodservice sales and distribution , with a proven track record of success and established relationships across major distributors (Sysco, US Foods, PFG, Cheney Brothers, GFS, etc.).
Strong understanding of broker relationships and foodservice operator dynamics.
Experience with frozen and value-added food products strongly preferred.
Knowledge of retail and private label channels , including experience launching and growing partnerships with major national retailers.
Ability to integrate retail and foodservice strategies to create diversified and scalable revenue streams.
Working knowledge of import logistics, international supply chains , and supplier management (especially with Latin America).
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including at least 3–5 years at the VP or Senior Director level.
Demonstrated success in building, managing, and scaling high-performance sales teams .
Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with a focus on KPI accountability and performance management.
Experience designing and optimizing sales team structures to meet evolving business needs.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to growth planning, forecasting, and market analysis.
Proficient in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools; capable of leveraging data for forecasting and margin management.
