VP of Sales, AI Decisioning

About the Role We’re looking for a VP of Sales to build and lead the foundational go-to-market team for our AI Decisioning product. You’ll hire, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, while rolling up your sleeves to refine the playbook, close deals, and prove product-market fit. This is not a “step into an existing machine” role, it’s a chance to build the machine. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to test messaging, learn from early customers, and shape how AI Decisioning is sold and delivered. Comfortable creating sales motions, processes, and teams from scratch. You love category creation and know how to translate a big vision into practical, compelling customer stories. You’re equally excited to roll up your sleeves on deals and to coach others to win. You’re scrappy, resourceful, and thrive in fast-paced environments where the playbook is constantly evolving. You’re passionate about people leadership—motivating, mentoring, and recruiting top talent. Qualifications 5+ years of software sales leadership experience, with at least 2+ years leading Enterprise-focused teams. Proven success building and scaling early-stage sales teams in high-growth SaaS companies. Track record of closing complex enterprise deals and coaching reps through them. Comfort experimenting with and refining sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Command of the Message) rather than relying on a rigid process. Curiosity and aptitude for learning technical concepts, particularly AI, data platforms, or ML-driven products, and explaining them in clear business terms. Strong cross-functional collaborator who works hand-in-hand with Product and Marketing to evolve GTM strategy. Base Salary Range: $200,000-$215,000 annually On-Target Earning Range: $400,000-$430,000 annually We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options and offer early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.
