About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead and execute all aspects of our sales, marketing, and partnership management functions under direction of our Chief Revenue Officer. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue generation, tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and building a scalable growth strategy. Initially a hands-on role, this position requires a proven self-starter who can successfully execute across multiple disciplines and eventually grow and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive consistent revenue growth across all channels
Identify new market opportunities, build and manage the sales pipeline, and cultivate key customer relationships
Personally lead and close strategic sales opportunities during the early stage of the role
Establish sales processes, forecasting methodologies, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and measurable success
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Create and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and generate demand
Oversee development of marketing campaigns, content strategy, digital presence, and lead generation programs
Establish the companys brand positioning, messaging, and presence in alignment with strategic goals
Analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and ensure ROI
Partnership Management
Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that support business objectives
Foster strong relationships with key partners to enhance product offerings, expand market reach, and drive revenue
Revenue & KPI Management
Define and track key revenue, sales, and marketing performance indicators
Develop and present regular reports to the executive team and stakeholders
Leverage data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategic adjustments
Team Development
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales and marketing team as the company grows
Define organizational structure and roles to support long-term growth objectives
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What youll bring
Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a small or entrepreneurial company environment
10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies
Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to decision-making and KPI management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role and scale operations as the company grows
Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing best practices
