Encore Village is currently hiring a Vice President, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Sales and Admission.
Overview
The Vice President (VP) of Skilled Nursing Facility Sales and Admission is responsible for leading the growth of census and overseeing the admissions operations across our Skilled Nursing Facilities.   This role ensures alignment between marketing, clinical liaisons, admissions staff, and operational team to drive occupancy, improve referral relationships, and ensure a smooth, compliant admissions process.   The VP will be accountable for sales performance, pipeline development and optimizing the resident intake experience.
Key Responsibilities
Census Growth & Sales Leadership
·         Drive admissions and maintain high occupancy across multiple SNFs.
·         Build and manage referral relationships with hospitals, payers, ACOs, and other partners.
·         Monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Admissions Operations
·         Oversee and standardize admissions processes across facilities.
·         Ensure timely, compliant, and customer-focused resident intake.
·         Track and optimize key metrics
Team Development
·         Lead, train, and support sales and admissions teams at regional and facility levels.
·         Set goals and foster collaboration with clinical, finance, and operational departments.
·         Promote best practices and continuous improvement in admissions performance.
Referral Management
·         Strengthen partnerships with physicians, discharge planners, and referral networks.
·         Guide field outreach strategies and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries.
·         Maintain a strong, consistent referral pipeline.
Market & Data Analysis
·         Analyze trends, competitors, and demographics to inform strategy.
·         Report on census, pipeline, and KPIs to leadership on a regular basis.
·         Use data insights to adjust sales and admissions efforts for optimal results.
Compliance & Quality
·         Ensure adherence to CMS, HIPAA, and state regulations.
·         Support survey readiness and proper documentation standards.
·         Uphold ethical practices in all admissions and referral activities.
Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
·         10+ years in healthcare sales/admissions; 5+ years in SNF or post-acute leadership.
·         Demonstrated success in census growth and referral development.
·         Deep knowledge of SNF operations, reimbursement systems, and regulatory standards.
·         Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., PointClickCare, any other tools Celeste had we would list).
·         Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes
·         Established network of hospital and healthcare referral partners.
·         Experience with digital outreach, CRM analytics, and brand visibility efforts.
·         Adaptable, innovative, and effective in fast-paced environments.
Work Location & Conditions
·         Travel: Up to 50% to locations, including 2-4 days of traveling twice per month to facility locations, referral meetings and any industry-related events
·         Environment: Corporate office and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
