License: Valid Class D CDL Drivers License
Vehicle Type: Box truck/straight truck
Schedule: Rotating 4 10s. 6am start Monday - Friday
Hourly pay: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr (pay for experience)
Distance: Local deliveries - return home each night Primary responsibilities will include: Be the face, voice, and reputation of our company while delivering products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses.
Navigate computer programs to find products and complete orders for customers.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies.
Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation.
Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.
Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Other warehouse duties as assigned. Required Skills: Maintain D.O.T. Medical Card & Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Valid Class D License.
Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time.
Ability to learn use of warehouse and driving technology.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 85 lbs.
Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills.
Attention to detail, good time management, accurately use basic math and problem-solving skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience preferred.
