Job purpose
The Wholesale Sales Representative is responsible for growing and maintaining Folino Estate's wholesale business by cultivating strong relationships with existing accounts, developing new customer partnerships, and promoting our wine portfolio through tastings and events. This role will also focus on expanding bottling services by building partnerships with smaller wineries and showcasing Folino Estate's production capabilities.
Qualifications
Proven sales or account management experience, preferably in wine, beverage, or hospitality industries.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of wine and winemaking processes (preferred; training provided).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a wholesale sales strategy for Folino Estate wines, focusing on restaurants, grocery stores, breweries, and distilleries
Identify, approach, and secure new wholesale accounts in both traditional and non-traditional channels
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner businesses
Represent Folino Estate Winery at industry events, tastings, and trade shows
Promote and sell winery services (e.g., custom winemaking, bottling, consulting) to small and emerging wineries in PA and neighboring states
Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure product availability and brand consistency
Track sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide weekly sales reports to management
Analyze market trends and identify new growth opportunities
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to wine sales and distribution
Key Performance Indicators
Meets or exceeds all sales goals
Increases sales of products based on tracking of new leads and comparison to previous year's sales
Identifies at least two new products or sales enhancements
Is a strong team player and can work across all departments
Completes required reports and paperwork on time and with accuracy
Establishes and maintains important relationships with the community and clients
Demonstrates creativity and ownership of the job

Physical Requirements:
Frequent driving/travel to customer accounts, events, and trade shows.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during tastings, events, and client visits.
Occasional bending, reaching, and handling of wine cases, displays, or equipment.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours as business needs dictate (e.g., tastings, festivals, trade shows).
