Purpose of Job:
Grow distributor dealer base, market share, and unit volume
Job Components:
- Effectively and efficiently sell more batteries profitably to grow volume
- Perform account management duties as directed by selling all IBSA product lines in all markets profitable
- Generate unit volume through individual sales efforts, and increase in dealer set-ups and exclusivity
- Coordination and facilitation of follow up to dealers to ensure materialization of sales volume and exclusivity
- Collaborate with RSMs in order to capitalize on opportunities and build strong dealer relationships.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and business development skills
- Basic computer skills
- 1-2 years customer service and/or sales experience preferred
- Ability to work and travel independently on a sustained basis
- Acceptable driving record. Subject to drug test
Scope Data:
- Expense reporting and credit card reconciliation
- Strong interface with MGM, RSMs and dealer base
Work Environment:
- Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
- Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
- Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
