Overview Compensation Business Partner – Sales and Marketing position at F5. Location: San Jose or Remote California, Seattle or Remote Washington, or Remote Texas, United States. We are seeking a dynamic Compensation Business Partner to support our Sales and Marketing functions, develop and provide solutions to attract and retain the best talent, and collaborate with the People Team on compensation governance.

Key Responsibilities Sales Comp Plan Design: Develop solutions with the People Team and collaborate with Sales leadership to translate compensation philosophies into actionable strategies aligned with business objectives and driving sales performance. Build trusted partnerships. Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to analyze compensation trends, identify gaps, and recommend solutions. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management. Education & Communication: Create clear materials to enhance understanding of compensation programs. Educate internal partners, business units, and employees to enable objective decision-making and meaningful compensation conversations. Project Management: Lead compensation projects of significant impact for business units or globally. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR and business leaders to understand compensation needs and provide guidance on pay decisions, policies, and practices. Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations. Develop and maintain compensation-related policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CCP certification is a plus. Experience: Minimum 8+ years in compensation management, with 2–3 years supporting a sales and marketing function. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS, compensation software, advanced Excel; knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization is a plus. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to interpret large data sets for decision-making. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex information to various audiences. Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and collaboration; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in all work products. Compensation and Benefits The annual base pay for this position is: $152,000.00 - $228,000.00. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
