Build Customer Relationships: Foster exceptional customer experiences to forge strong, lasting relationships and expand our core customer base. Prospecting: Actively seek out new customers through cold calls, tradeshows, industry associations, outreach campaigns, and networking opportunities. Active Listening: Demonstrate attentive listening skills to understand customer needs and build trust. Problem-Solving: Assess customer requirements, recommend products or services, and support them in achieving their goals. Clear Communication: Articulate product or service features effectively, address customer concerns promptly, and convey the value proposition. Territory Management: Strategically plan sales activities, prioritize tasks, and organize your territory to maximize effectiveness. Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch and field support teams to ensure seamless customer service and satisfaction. Responsiveness: Quickly respond to customer requests and maintain a 'Consider It Done' approach. Results-Driven: Achieve or surpass sales, margin, and mix goals consistently—always act with integrity and accuracy. Additional Duties: Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers Attend weekly sales meetings Complete required training programs Promote the adoption of digital solutions Provide insightful reporting and data analysis for your territory Ensure customer accounts are well-maintained Partner with vendors to meet customer needs Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities
Qualifications for Success: At least 1 year of proven success in B2B sales, ideally within the roofing, building products, landscaping, or similar industries. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual (Spanish) capabilities are preferred in certain regions. A high school diploma or equivalent; some college experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Willingness to travel for company meetings, tradeshows, and industry events.
