Your Role: As a Field Sales Manager at SRS, you will actively drive sales by engaging with current and prospective customers face-to-face. Your responsibilities will include: Creating Relationships: Deliver an exceptional customer experience to build strong relationships and grow our core customer base. Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers through various methods, including cold calls, tradeshows, and networking. Active Listening: Understand customer needs, building trust through attentive listening. Problem-Solving: Analyze customer requirements, recommending products or services that meet their needs. Effective Communication: Clearly articulate product features and convey value propositions while promptly addressing customer concerns. Strategic Planning: Organize sales activities effectively within your assigned territory to maximize results. Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch and field teams to ensure alignment and a seamless customer experience. Timeliness: Exhibit a responsive demeanor, embodying our 'Consider It Done' attitude. Delivering Results: Consistently meet or exceed sales and margin expectations while adhering to integrity and quality standards. Additional Responsibilities: Conduct quarterly business reviews with key customers. Participate in weekly sales meetings. Complete ongoing training and drive digital solution adoption. Provide insightful reporting and analysis for your territory. Ensure accounts maintain good credit standings. Collaborate with vendors to address customer needs. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of proven success in B2B sales, ideally in related sectors such as roofing or building products. Strong proficiency in English; bilingual (Spanish) may be an asset in certain locations. High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Willingness to travel for company meetings, tradeshows, and events. The base salary for this role ranges from $37,500 to $75,000 annually, influenced by experience and qualifications.
