A  Family Service Advisor  at  San Jacinto Funeral Home  in  Houston, Texas , serves families by arranging for "at-need" and "pre-need" funeral and burial services and products. The role involves a significant sales component, requiring you to guide families through the funeral and burial process, offer personalized guidance on services and memorialization options, and manage customer service requests to ensure families are supported during a difficult time. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Guidance:  You will meet with families to arrange "at-need" (immediate need) and "pre-need" (pre-planning) services, helping them select burial space, memorialization options, and funeral packages. Family Support:  You act as a guide and advisor, providing knowledge about the funeral process and helping families make informed decisions while offering comfort and empathy. Customer Service:  You will provide courteous and knowledgeable service, address customer inquiries, and manage follow-up communications with client families. Administrative Tasks:  This includes managing the front office, scheduling services, and maintaining client information and records.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications: Sales Acumen:  The role is a sales-oriented position, requiring an ability to guide families through the sales process and close deals for funeral and burial services. Customer Service:  You will need strong customer service skills to assist families effectively and manage relationships with clients. Empathy & Communication:  Excellent communication and strong empathy are crucial for supporting families through their grief. Organization:  You should be organized to manage multiple client interactions and administrative tasks efficiently.
