Job Summary
This is a position at Perspire Sauna Studio Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY. Are you passionate about health and wellness? Are you naturally confident and outgoing? If so, you need to join the member service team at our upscale sauna studio in NYC! We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to connect with people. As the expert on all of the studio's services, amenities, and programs, youre responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring theyre maximizing their Perspire experience. We invest in your development so that with guidance and support from the studio leaders, you crush sales goals for yourself and the team.

Perspire is a chain of independently owned wellness studios offering offering Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy and proprietary Sn Showers. We started in California and have been expanding rapidly throughout the nation! You'll be joining our first NYC studio, located in Williamsburg at 191 North 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Here's what youll do as a Sales Associate:
  • Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals
  • Proactively reach out to new leads and past guests by phone, text and email using our established processes and software with high-energy
  • Promote the benefits of infrared saunas, contrast therapy, red light therapy, and the value of having a Perspire Sauna Studio Membership
  • Attend community outreach events in the studio's neighborhood to promote the studio and sign up new leads
  • Engaging with new guests on a personal level while administering tours of the studio
  • While assigned to the studio front desk:
    • Greet new guests and existing members to our studio making them feel relaxed and welcome
    • Answer the phone, set reservations and book follow-up appointments
    • Check out guests
    • Administer studio tours for new guests while promoting the studio
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean facility, focused on the front desk area but also occasionally supporting the studio maintenance assistant's duties as needed depending on coverage.

  • Prior experience in sales and in proactive outreach to leads
  • A high degree of confidence and enthusiasm
  • A genuine desire to promote positivity and provide exceptional service
  • A competitive and goal-oriented nature, driven to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
  • Mindbody Software and CRM software experience is a plus!

Compensation:
  • Starting pay of $17 per hour, paid every 2 weeks, with successful training completion plus any applicable commissions on sales.
  • Anticipated salary raises every 4-6 months, based on a perfect track record of on-time attendance, professionalism and compliance with company policies with the expectation of reaching $18 per hour within one year of your hiring date.
