What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Oversee direct sales development activities for new business opportunities with government agencies - Develop and execute growth strategies for government and OEM businesses - Lead opportunity capture and proposal efforts for complex avionics and SaaS solutions - Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. and foreign military/government customers - Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to win and execute key opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications): - Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to attain and maintain government security clearance - Minimum 10 years of related experience in selling or working with avionic and aircraft systems programs for military/government accounts - Proven success in capturing and managing large-scale DoD/government contracts - Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and FAR/DFARS compliance - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical, or related discipline required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and foreign military procurement and sales - Familiarity with CRM platforms and forecasting tools (e.g., Salesforce) - Advanced degree preferred - Demonstrated leadership ability and business acumen - Effective communicator and negotiator with executive presence
