Role Overview We’re hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow our business in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. This role is all about building relationships, developing new opportunities, and turning customers into long-term partners. You’ll meet clients face-to-face, uncover their needs, and work with our operations team to deliver solutions that get the job done right.
Responsibilities
Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Meet customers in person to understand their needs and provide solutions
Collaborate with operations to design and deliver reliable, achievable solutions
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
Negotiate strategically with new and existing customers
Provide input on regional marketing strategies and growth opportunities
Requirements:
Proven outside sales experience
Strong consultative sales skill
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Organized, disciplined, and self-directed
Proficient with standard software applications
Maintain the highest integrity and transparency at all times
What it takes to succeed This role is critical to the success and direction of JC Davis Power. You’ll need flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to creating highly satisfied customers—all backed by a positive, proactive attitude.
Work Load Expectations
40-50 hours per week, with significant autonomy
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours to meet customer needs
Split between the field/customer visits, and home office work
Some overnight travel required.
