As a Sales and Customer Engagement Representative, you will play a vital role in generating new business revenue by cultivating partnerships within the public sector, non-profits, local governments, and commercial businesses. You will utilize education and cooperative contracts to create tailored solutions and generate leads through outbound calls, in-person meetings, and industry events. Your focus will be on managing sales pipelines, converting prospects, and consolidating business from other vendors while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Drive revenue conversion from new customers, strategically building programs to foster sales growth within the public sector and commercial markets. Develop a territory strategy, continuously analyze performance, and adjust strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Assess potential clients based on size, spend, and growth prospects; route opportunities appropriately within the sales team. Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective customers to showcase Quill's value and solutions. Create engaging presentations using marketing materials to drive prospect interest and conversion. Represent Quill at conferences, tradeshows, and events to attract new customers. Propose and present tailored pricing solutions to high-growth commercial clients. Utilize education contracts and cooperative purchasing partnerships to penetrate the education sector. Ensure a seamless transition to the account management team after customer commitment. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key performance indicators. Maintain accurate records within the CRM, capturing activity logs and pipeline status. Embrace continuous improvement through manager and peer feedback. Foster a positive team culture by collaborating effectively, sharing insights, and leading by example. Work closely with sales leadership and peers to drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies. Promote company values and services, emphasizing product features and benefits. Expand customer relationships by consolidating business from other vendors and developing customized pricing programs. Travel approximately 50% of the time within your territory for meetings and conferences. What You Bring: A competitive, results-driven mindset with strong communication and persuasion skills. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 6 months in the public sector.
