Sales Development Representative
In this key role, you'll report to the Chief Franchise Officer and you'll collaborate closely with the Franchise Development and Franchise Operations Teams. The Sales Development Representative will focus on identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential franchisees to generate new business opportunities and build a sales pipeline through cold calling (a minimum of 100 calls per week). Ability to utilize LinkedIn and alternate social media platforms for prospecting, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to identify, research, and contact potential clients to generate new franchisee sales opportunities and qualify leads is required. Candidates with experience in Inside Sales are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time salaried role with medical benefits, paid time-off and holiday pay benefits! We offer a hybrid, coworking and flex office space environment. Galt offers a 4-day work week, Monday thru Thursday (36 hrs.) and our office space is in the Atlanta–Cumberland, Vinings vicinity!
Core Responsibilities:
- Crafts messaging and campaigns that highlight the franchise opportunity's unique value proposition across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, cold calls, emails, and social media messaging, to introduce GPS and franchise opportunity.
- Targets prospects by using data-driven insights to define ideal "qualified" candidate profiles while focusing on individuals with the financial capacity, entrepreneurial mindset, and cultural fit.
- Leads prospective buyers through a structured engagement funnel-from initial inquiry to signing day-while assessing readiness, motivation, alignment and culture fit.
- Collaborates with Director, Franchise Development and team to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads, and refine targeting strategies and lead source effectiveness based on conversion data to improve the quality and efficiency of lead generation efforts.
- Contacts prospects through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media messaging, to introduce Galt and its franchise offerings.
- Engages with prospects to understand their needs and determine if they are a good fit for the Galt's Franchisees, using predefined criteria.
- Captures and updates prospect data and interactions in the CRM system to ensure Franchise Development can respond promptly and effectively.
- Contributes to the overall franchisee sales pipeline by consistently generating a steady flow of potential new business.
- Participates in weekly check-ins with the Chief Franchise Officer to review progress, milestones, and expectations.
- Provides progress reports to the Chief Franchise Officer, CEO, and other stakeholders, documenting key milestones, and ensuring effective communication, as needed.
- Stays current with new prospective trends and Galt product offerings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Professional Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing preferred.
- 1-2 years in Inside Sales, cold calling or relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn and other prospecting tools, strong communication skills necessary for outreach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, word processing and PowerPoint), and internet research.
- Expertise in platforms like Salesforce, Dynamics, or other CRM systems to manage customer data and track sales progress preferred.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for crafting compelling outreach messages, conducting discovery calls, and building relationships.
- Must be results-driven, organized, and possess a resilient attitude.
- Ability to manage a high volume of activity, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be proactive and able to handle rejection, which is a common part of cold outreach and lead generation.
Employment Requirements:
