About the Role As a Sales Executive in our Employee Benefits department, you’ll be at the forefront of building and leading client relationships. You’ll identify and develop new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and deliver innovative insurance solutions that solve complex challenges for our clients. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you’ll partner with an experienced service team and have the autonomy to shape your book of business. What You’ll Do Business Development Build new client relationships through referrals, networking, events, and industry connections Actively prospect and manage leads using our sales tools and CRM Identify cross-selling opportunities across practice areas Maintain a pipeline 3x your annual sales goal and achieve/exceed targets Client Leadership Serve as the strategic advisor for your clients, leading risk management strategies Analyze coverage needs, recommend program structures, and execute changes Educate clients on insurance solutions and market options Collaborate with service teams to deliver timely, high-quality proposals and renewals Team Culture Partner with Client Executives, Managers, and Account Managers to deliver exceptional service Stay current on carriers, products, legislation, and industry trends Contribute to a positive, growth-oriented culture and uphold our core values What We’re Looking For 5+ years of sales/consulting experience in a professional services industry Insurance industry background (agency, broker, or carrier) Proven success building and growing a book of business Strong presentation, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills Bachelor’s degree preferred Life Health license (or ability to obtain within 60 days) CEBS designation preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Why Join Us Competitive compensation with strong earning potential Hybrid flexibility (Chicago-based) Employee-owned company — you’ll have a real stake in our success Collaborative team culture and supportive leadership Opportunities for professional growth and development If you’re ready to take your career to the next level and work with a team that values excellence, collaboration, and growth, we’d love to hear from you.
