Provide a high level of service and accuracy to internal and external customers in preparation of sales proposals and order placement throughout the life cycle of an order from quoting to project closing. This sales support position is responsible for coordinating all sales activities related to the company's product and service offerings and ensuring total customer satisfaction on orders not assigned to a Project Manager.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.Key Responsibilities:· Managing all aspects of customer service coordination from project initiation through invoicing· Secondary "Point of Contact" during and after close of sale· Clear understanding of the Scope of Work· Obtaining pricing quotations for product, freight, COM fabric etc. from vendors· Ensuring accuracy of pricing, contract terms, and other information· Providing pricing quotes to customers and processing orders· Preparing bid pricing and documentation in conjunction with account manager and designer· Management of customer invoicing, AIA, and phase billing· Coordination of scheduling and monitoring of projected invoice dates for all orders where a Project Manager has not been assigned· On-going communication with client on order status / updates / delivery / scheduling of product· Assisting accounting and open issue teams with post-order issues as required· Working with account manager to assemble and create presentationsEducation and / or Experience: A minimum of 3 years sales coordination support, project coordination support and/or purchasing experience required; furniture industry experience desirable.High school diploma or GED; 4 year college a plus.
