What You'll Do As a Technical Sales Representative for Globe Machine's Industrial Automation and Robotics division, you will lead the sales and solution development of robotic systems tailored for the manufacturing sector. You'll serve as a critical bridge between our customers and engineering teams-consulting, problem-solving, and supporting custom automation solutions from concept through execution. Globe is located in Tacoma, WA. Candidate should live within a 3-hour drive of Globe. Key Responsibilities: Drive the sales and promotion of robotic automation systems within industrial manufacturing markets. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to support ongoing business growth. Provide expert technical support throughout the sales process-from initial inquiry through post-installation support. Collaborate closely with project manager and engineers to translate customer needs into technical solutions. Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies, industry standards, and competitive trends. Develop and present detailed technical proposals and system documentation. Travel to client sites, Globe office, and trade shows as needed. What Makes You a Great Fit A passion for automation, robotics, and industrial innovation. You're highly motivated, independent, and energized by solving complex challenges. Skills & Experience: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of technical sales experience, ideally within the automation, robotics, or industrial manufacturing sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software. Experience with simulation tools such as RoboGuide or similar platforms. Familiarity with MS Office Suite and CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot Strong writing and communication skills for technical documentation and client presentations. Why Join Globe?
