Scissero is an AI-enhanced legal services company built for financial institutions, combining expert legal support with intelligent automation. Our integrated platform seamlessly blends Mike, our virtual paralegal, with human-in-the-loop delivery across channels including client portals, email, and even WhatsApp.
We believe in the power of partnership between humans and AI where technology augments, not replaces, legal expertise. Our approach is designed to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability, while keeping lawyers firmly at the center of judgment and strategy.
We are a global team of ~75 people, comprised of lawyers, paralegals, engineers, project managers, and AI specialist, operating from offices in U.S., EMEA, and APAC. We are regulated as a law firm in New York and the United Kingdom, and are ISO 27001 and 42001 certified (AI)
Position Overview
Scissero is seeking a dynamic, results-driven VP or SVP of Sales to join our global commercial team. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in accelerating our sales efforts, owning key client relationships, and expanding our global footprint across the legal, tech, and financial services sectors. This individual will be deeply involved in strategic sales planning, pipeline development, and deal execution. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, excellent client-facing skills, and experience selling SaaS or legal tech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Generate, qualify, and manage leads across legal, financial, and technology sectors
- Execute and refine the sales strategy in collaboration with the CCO and Head of Sales
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals
- Support proposal development and lead commercial negotiations
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture trusted client relationships at senior levels
- Run demos, respond to client enquiries, and communicate the value proposition of Scisseros solutions in a consultative manner
- Actively manage key accounts and support cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and client success teams to align efforts and share feedback
- Manage CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce), ensuring clean data and accurate pipeline reporting
- Analyse performance metrics to drive insights and improvements
Marketing & Brand Support
- Contribute to outbound marketing campaigns and thought leadership efforts
- Represent Scissero at industry events and conferences
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years in a sales, business development, or client-facing role
- Strong SaaS sales experience, preferably in legal tech or AI-driven tools
- Experience with enterprise or B2B sales into law firms, financial institutions, or technology companies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail, strong organisation, and time management
- Team-oriented, client-first, solutions-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales analytics
- Proven track record in startup or scale-up environments
- Understanding of the legal, compliance, or regulatory landscape
