Global IT Consulting & Technology Services Company seeks an experienced Business Development Manager/Director to help achieve the company's growth goals in Systems Integration and Application Development Services. This is a remote hybrid position based in Metro Detroit!
The Business Development Manager will help support the IT needs of medium and large sized businesses, both in the US and internationally in diverse industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing sales in a professional services, extensive business development experience and a vast network of business relationships.

Responsibilities:
* Sell services and reach revenue quotas for new clients (comprised of project services and staffing), Partners and/or new Strategic Alliances service customers, establishing growing relationships with large and midsize OEMs, Tier-1s, Outsourcers, and existing and new Strategic Partners. * Develop strong knowledge of market, target accounts, competition, and industry trends to create business development strategy that aligns with the Company's values, sales goals and objectives. * Collaborate with teammates and maintain a positive and professional attitude fostering teamwork. * Overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities. * Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets. * Develop, present, and implement plans for acquiring new partners/customers and traction. * Work collaboratively with offshore and onshore resources (Program Development, Recruiting, Developers, etc.) to help deliver solutions effectively, efficiently, and within the prescribed timelines and costs.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record generating new business in business and IT progressional consulting services, managed services, ERP (Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday), services, and digital transformation / mobility / IOT / analytic solutions. * Possess a BA/BS or equivalent college degree. * Demonstrated experience selling to a range of industry sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, health care, retail banking, and financial services. * Achievement of specific revenue and volume targets by quarter and annually. * A sales and technical background enabling engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. * Excellent negotiation skills, with proven track record of pitching for new business. * Professional and knowledgeable approach to each customer interaction. * Up-to-date knowledge of issues and trends in the IT industry. * Strong interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with Company team members and fostering positive and professional relationships. * Strong presentation skills (in-person and virtual). * Experience managing major national accounts. * Highly self-motivated. * Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in adapting to expectations and the challenges customers present. * Strong leadership skills.
