Director of Sales (Property Acquisition) Full-Time, 1099 Contractor Location: Durango, CO About Us We're a growing real estate investment startup with a unique niche: helping families resolve inherited property situations. The Role We're looking for a Director of Sales (Property Acquisition) to lead our sales division and play a key role in driving growth. This position requires someone who thrives in challenging situations, enjoys negotiation, and is motivated to close deals. You'll work directly with our CEO, COO, and head researcher to target properties, contact heirs, and negotiate acquisitions. The expectation is that you'll be in the office daily, working alongside leadership for training, accountability, and culture building. What You'll Do Lead our sales division with a focus on results and growth. Cold call an existing list of leads. Contact heirs of inherited properties, negotiate terms, and close acquisitions. Collaborate directly with the CEO, COO, and research team to pursue targeted opportunities. Navigate complex and sometimes messy situations with persistence and professionalism. Build strong rapport with property owners and stakeholders. What We're Looking For Sales leadership experience, preferably in real estate or a related field. Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to handle challenging conversations. Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a startup environment. Commitment to in-person work at our Durango, CO office. Entrepreneurial mindset—hungry to grow, adapt, and lead. Comfortable with confrontation with other property owners. Compensation Months 1–3: $5,000/month base + commission. Months 4–6: $2,500/month base + commission. After 6 months: 100% commission structure with high earning potential. Each deal has the potential to generate $50k–$200k in profit. Your earning potential is truly unlimited. The sales commission is 20% of net profit.
