RESPONSIBILITIES
: Drive sales growth by aggressively pursuing new automotive customers and applications. Promote and sell Amphenol products to established automotive clients and develop new prospects. Own and manage multimillion-dollar OEM accounts, driving activity across global sales channels. Lead our automotive strategy across North America, interfacing with reps, distributors, and global teams. Identify interconnect opportunities in EV platforms, ADAS, infotainment, and lighting systems. Collaborate with customer engineering teams to design new Amphenol products. Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the automotive market. Exceed sales quotas through design wins and effective channel management. Influence customers to increase Amphenol product content in vehicle platforms. Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including product positioning and marketing. Resolve complex interconnect challenges and technical inquiries with speed and precision. Track orders, revenue, and pipeline activity by customer. Build strong relationships by providing timely support on samples, specs, delivery, and quality. Stay informed on automotive market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Conduct regular customer visits and travel as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related) or Business/Marketing with technical background. Strong business development skills and a proven hunter mentality. 3+ years of field sales experience in the automotive industry or related technical sales. Knowledge of interconnect solutions for EVs, eMobility, ADAS, and lighting systems is a plus. Familiarity with international business practices and global OEMs preferred. SKILLS: Exceptional sales acumen with ability to secure design wins and negotiate contracts. Technically savvy with deep understanding of automotive applications and connector technologies. Strategic thinker with ability to differentiate Amphenol solutions in a competitive market. Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive levels.
