SUMMARY:

This position requires strong data analysis abilities with supporting skills as a great communicator. Candidate will be a reliable planner who is highly organized and understands the vehicle manufacturing industry, its supply chain, market share and pricing strategies. This position is not eligible for a relocation benefit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product management responsibility
  • Plans, directs and coordinates activities among engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality resources
  • Manages and directs all phases of a project to ensure that the objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget
  • Regularly reviews status makes modifications to scheduling, costing, etc., as necessary
  • Organizes and conducts product team meetings
  • Interfaces with customers and sales organization to set expectations and provide status updates
  • Develops budgetary cost modeling tools
  • Develops and assists with print and digital marketing materials
  • Communicates with Customer Service, Sales, Engineering and Operations teams globally
  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic market plans and forecasts to achieve the business objectives
  • Oversees positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and market activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will be an individual who has experience within the automotive field. They will also understand supply chain and supply network requirements as well as be able to execute performance strategies to constantly improve product sales outcomes.

Other qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical Engineering or Marketing discipline required.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical product marketing or technical marketing within the Interconnect industry.
  • Well organized and comfortable working in a matrixed environment with ability to communicate effectively with cross functional, geographically dispersed and culturally diverse marketing, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams, vendors and customers.
  • Strong customer, business planning and implementation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically, sometimes internationally, approximately 10%
  • Microsoft Office skills at a proficient user level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to think creatively and offer new ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
