Regional Sales Leader

We are seeking a Regional Sales Leader to drive the development and execution of our strategic plan for the region. This role is vital to our Field Sales team, positioning you as an innovator who will leverage market opportunities while maintaining a competitive edge in our sales strategies. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize safety in all operations. Champion our 'people first' culture. Act as the primary liaison with established distributors in your region. Build and nurture strong business relationships with key contacts at distributor locations. Mentor and coach your sales team to enhance their capabilities. Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Regional Sales team members. Collaborate with direct reports to create individual development plans at the start of each year. Develop relationships with key contacts at National Account customers and major retailers like Lowe's and Home Depot. Create and implement an annual business plan aimed at achieving your regional sales goals. Focus on driving pull-through activity and developing the Sales Pipeline. Oversee budget management for travel and entertainment in your area. Manage cooperative funding for distributor locations effectively. Utilize Business Development Funds (BDF) to support strategic goals. Engage in sales forecasting processes. Direct Reports: Lead a team of District Managers, Account Managers, and Sales Representatives, providing continuous performance feedback, coaching, and professional growth opportunities. Travel Requirements: This position requires approximately 75% overnight travel. A valid driver's license is required. Position Location: Central Region, USA Employment Type: Full-Time/Regular Experience: We seek leaders with a four-year degree and over 10 years of sales experience demonstrating exceptional results. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of key account experience and three years of people management experience. Compensation: Base Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 annually. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role is eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus.
