Job Overview: As a Sales Manager, you will assume a pivotal leadership role in overseeing, guiding, and motivating a team of Account Executives. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve facilitating effective communication between our dedicated sales force and diverse internal departments. You will spearhead the coordination of all sales endeavors to ensure optimal client service. Your foremost emphasis will center on cultivating a culture of excellence through training initiatives and strategic goal setting. Essential Responsibilities: Oversee and track sales team's progress towards achieving goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Network and conduct ride-alongs with Account Executives to enhance sales performance and build relationships. Aid in the recruitment and selection process for new Sales Teammates. Skillfully negotiate and establish pricing strategies for diverse customer needs. Generate team sales reports to provide insights and guide decision-making. Manage inventory of samples and sales materials, ensuring availability for Account Executives. Engage with customers, vendors, and manufacturers to resolve any issues promptly. Provide assistance to AE's in addressing customer and client challenges. Collect information from Operations, QA, and the field, to devise solutions for internal and external issues in real time. Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to tackle daily, weekly, and monthly challenges. Arrange and lead product knowledge sessions to enhance team expertise. Host productive Sales and/or take-off meetings. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager to support the success of the Team. Qualifications: Bilingual a plus, but not required. Proficient in leadership and team management, with a demonstrated track record of at least 1 year in a management role. Technologically adept, with the ability to proficiently manage emails, data input, and a strong familiarity with Google Workspace. Possess exceptional communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written forms. Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail. Efficient multitasking abilities, allowing for the successful handling of various responsibilities. Prior knowledge of the flooring industry is advantageous, although not a mandatory requirement.
