Overview Vice President of Sales The Vice President of Sales will lead GCTs Inbound Sales and Group Sales departments, overseeing approximately 110 sales professionals, including two direct-report Directors. This leader will drive sales excellence by delivering world-class traveler experiences and maximizing revenue through high-conversion inbound calls, group bookings, and strategic upsells such as trip extensions, travel insurance, and air class upgrades. This is a highly visible leadership role within the TRC that requires a purpose-driven, metrics-focused, and emotionally mature sales leader who can balance results with a strong commitment to coaching, quality, and GCTs values.

Own performance outcomes for Inbound and Group Sales, including conversion rate, revenue per call, upsell penetration, and customer satisfaction (CSAT / post-call survey scores)
Develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of ~110 agents through two Director-level leaders
Implement data-driven sales strategies to optimize call handling, average handle time (AHT), sales funnel execution, and IVR routing
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Air, Product, and Operations to align promotions, pricing, and messaging for maximum sales effectiveness
Partner with Finance and Workforce Management to forecast call volume, set achievable sales targets, and manage staffing to ensure service levels and sales productivity
Cultivate a strong sales culture grounded in accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement
Reinforce Grand Circle values by leading with emotional maturity, open communication, and a commitment to quality, speed, teamwork, and change readiness
Key Qualifications
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a high-volume inbound sales or contact center environment
Proven track record of leading teams > 75 FTEs and delivering results across multiple KPIs (conversion, upsell, AHT, CSAT)
Experience managing agents both in individual consumer and group travel sales or other high-consideration purchase environments
Strong familiarity with sales enablement and call center technology, including platforms like Genesys, Gong, Salesforce, or similar
Deep understanding of coaching frameworks, incentive design, and operational discipline to drive team and individual performance
