About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for the Central Region. This leadership role is dedicated to building and leading strong, productive sales teams, with a focus on supporting and leading territory sales managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the team understands and delivers the value promise of the company. Key responsibilities include developing account profiles, setting annual goals, and daily customer engagement to execute sales plans. The VP will also be involved in driving high-profile opportunities, conducting business reviews, and maintaining regular communication with the executive sales team and other regional managers.
Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a proven track record in forming interdepartmental relationships, leading sales teams, and meeting or exceeding business expectations. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential, as is a passion for excellence and customer centricity. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree (preferred), at least 7 years of direct sales experience in the food service industry, particularly in the K-12 school segment, and prior sales leadership experience.
